How do I connect Mothership to my Shopify store?

The easiest way to connect your Shopify store to the Mothership Vendor Portal is to install the Mothership Supplier sales channel app from


The Shopify user account installing the Mothership sales channel must have sufficient permissions to install apps. 

Installation instructions

Open up our app store landing page and click on the green add app button. Please login to your Shopify admin if you are prompted to do so.

On the next page, you will be prompted by Shopify to grant Mothership permission to access and take certain actions in your store. Please review and then approve or deny the permissions request. To approve the permissions request, click the green Add sales channel button at the top of the page. 

Next, you'll be prompted to connect the Mothership sales channel to the Mothership Vendor Portal. If you do not have a Vendor Portal account, Mothership will automatically create one for you when you click the purple Connect button. If you have an existing account associated with your Shopify store, Mothership will use that account.

Once you click connect, you'll be redirected and signed into the Mothership Vendor portal where you will continue the onboarding process. Note, some of the onboarding steps have been completed for you using your shop data pulled from the API. Additionally, you will can skip the step prompting you to connect your ecommerce platform since we just completed that step by installing the Mothership Supplier sales channel.
