How do I automatically adjust wholesale prices?

Mothership can automatically recalculate the wholesale price of a product in a catalog whenever the retail price of the product changes in your Shopify store.

For example, let's say you have a catalog with 33% margin and a product with a retail price of 10.00. Mothership initially calculates the wholesale price to be 10.00 * (1 - 0.33) = 6.70. Let's say you run a sale and reduce the retail price of the product 9.00, Mothership can automatically recalculate the wholesale price to be 9.00 * (1 - 0.33) = 6.03.

This can be helpful if you and your retail partner have agreed upon a revenue split, want to sell the products for the same price across both stores, and you want to ensure that the retail partner is always margin whole.

To set this up, open up Mothership and click on the Catalogs link in the menu on the left. On the catalogs page, click on the manage button next to the catalog you want to configure.

Under the price adjustments section on the next page, ensure that 'Yes' is selected under the setting entitled 'Recalculate wholesale prices in this catalog when product prices change in your Shopify store?'. Make sure you click the purple save button below. Mothership will then recalculate the wholesale prices in the catalog to reflect the current value of the input price.
